I was reading on yahoo news this article. I know that only Cari could appreciate this news, but still...
Come to think of it, Cari might be the only person who could toe to toe with me in this game. BRING IT ON SISTER!!
Prepare for the world's best showdown of "Friends" minds.
God, I need a life.

It's already been brought'n, sister.
Hey, does this mean video game, like X-Box, or does it mean video game, like game board with video accessory? Either way, I'm prepared.
Meg, I have finally introduced myself to your website! So in coordinance of your "daily dose of reality" my dose was observing the different experiences people go through everyday and how they cope with big changes... One guy who looked 90 was only 65 and we had to remove his thyroid. He had three blood pressure medicines and an insulin drip to keep his organs running, plus a feeding tube that went through his belly, a catheter to collect his almost green urine, and a gigantic breathing tube in his throat to keep him alive. It was a harrowing experince just watching him and assisting the two surgeons... he was hanging literally on by a thread. All the while, I had just taken another patient to recovery who thought she was going to die from having an anal fissure repaired. It stopped me in my daily O-R chores. It just reminded me how unique an individual's life is, and how I take part for these "brief" moments in time. It is just incredible how things come together...
I am probably not making sense, but it was just an emotionally enriched type of day. Now I can go home knowing I contributed to society for a few hours. Anyway Meghan, I look forward to reading your blog. Cheers!
